a theme song for "Magical girl Madoka Magica"... なのです!!.
.
How are you going guys!!.
When have introduced this themed song of Japanese TV animation called "Madoka Magica".
A follower send me a message of requesting the "pronunciation" for this song.
Therefore... even no matter if this song might have deleted soon... have created this pronunciation here for you guys!!.
Anyway... "ClariS" is consisted by two very cute girls, but in this live video, they are wearing the Cat masks since they are so hesitate to show their own face to the audience.
Therefore... the Promotion video at the top is seemed a bit weird but if you have recognised their minds you probably understand they behaviours.
Also to mention you that the below movie is originally created English version by the person called Amalee.
It has not performed in the actual lyric, so it has a bit difference in it also.
Oops... besides on this main animation has much cruelty script than "The neon genesis Evangelion".
Also in the opening there are some typical Japanese "H" scenes in it.(※Note.).
Therefore... some of the opening scenes might be inappropriate with some people.
But eventually... the top two movies are alright.
Even have said so... I want you to feel the original taste of this popular Japanese animation.
So... have attached the original opening movie at the last for you to satisfy your curious.
But beware that it might harm your feeling if you have decided to watch the last attached movie after the pronunciation.
Please note again that it is your own responsibility to watch it.
Translation and pronunciation.

【Madoka Opening.】.
※Do not watch under 20 years old or a person who does not want to offend own emotion.
.
※Note 1, "H"(エッチ): an adverb or a noun character which describes the meaning "erotic".
*Pronounced like "ecchi" in Japanese.
*It comes from the Japanese phrase, "Hentai", Kinky or nerdy like weird and a bit erotic action.
*But in generally... when a girl said to a man "You are H" like phrase, it does not meant claiming to say that you are kinky or a nerd.
*It shows a girl or a woman's surprise and hesitation emotion with showing that she has a "small" liking emotion to you.
*Hence... sometimes That case might shows a girl is accepting your "small" sexually behaviours like touching a shoulder or making a sudden kissing actions.
*If a girl have any liking feeling against you at all, They would say instead of using the above "you are H", they say "iya"(いや:dislike it) or "yamete"(やめて:please stop).
*Therefore... when you have heard these words from a girl, it clearly shows that she does not have any interest to you.

Hi its me again, commented on your kakegurui blog post. What a coincidence that i've actually been meaning to watch this anime "magical girl madoka magica", for a while now and now you have reminded me to do so! thank you. I will watch it this weekend. I liked the English version you showed by amalee, however, i don't feel like it does justice for the original Claris version. but, hey, its different styles and freedom of expression, right? haha
I'm also glad you added the "H" meaning under Note 1. I didn't know ecchi was referred to as "H", so you taught me something today ^-^
I also loved how you gave the girl example and how she actually feels and what is meant when she tells a boy "you are H". Question: so is H more of "Kinky or nerdy like weird and a bit erotic action" or can it be referred to as simply "perverted". ALSO, is being called H always bad? or does it have a positive connotation too?
thanks again for another great post!
Yes... you are absolutely right and highly evaluated with many Japanese people which Amalee has created the splendid in English lyric song.
We strongly support amalee expressions and this is based on the freedom of any types on individual speech or thoughts on the fundamental minds.
However as you have told me that I feel a bit difference between the original with Amalee's version is that since Amalee has contained a phrase "fighting through".
If you will see this "magical girl Madoka Magica" in this weekend, you may find out that Madoka is hesitating and distressing to fight with witches through all episodes.
She does not want to harm others, like an ordinary Japanese person does, even if she has suffering under the threat of witches.
Probably... this is why I have a vague impression on Amalee's lyrics... ahaha... it is a only my opinion and it is a very little concern only and I do not intending to research it furthermore... so maybe??
But commonly... Japanese mindset is always keep avoiding to speak out the particular bad words like "death", "kill", "harm", "disease", "fight", "complain" and so on.
These typical words might be inappropriate to use in our society since some people get bad emotions by unknown person to hear those bad words who have suffering or suffered with these bad things now, especially under the current circumstances of devastating typhoon damages.
This typical habit can be seen in the lyrics of the songs which I have translated in the past articles also.
Therefore... maybe... Japanese language has the unique phrases like "Shouganai" or "Shikataganai" instead of these unwanted expressions.
Ahaha... but many Japanese songs have "fighting with" or "defeating others" like phrases even...
But these words are fit with the drama or movie content or even the singer-self... but I felt like not fitting with Madoka's character though...
Ahaha... this is only my impression so you do not have to think too much either too.
Anyway... Amalee and her staffs are doing very well and I am highly appreciated with them for the creation of such a wonderful movie for us.
If I am a producer or a director... surely I will ask them to make a song for a new drama.
But I am just an ordinary person... I am very depressed not to be able to support them.
Ahaha... back to the story about the explanation on "H".
Yes... your understanding is exactly right.
If a girl or lady said "You are H", it comes from the feeling of ones positive feeling in general.
So... if you have heard when you are trying to hold or kissing her...You might have a very high chance.
But sadly human emotion is not that simple...
if she said that word with angry face... do not go further.
A girl is just used that phrase is as simply she does not want to embarrass you in a public and must be recognized to know that she has no feeling to you at all and only just considering your position there.
Ahaha... Sorry to send a long complicated reply again.
I hope you are enjoying to know the unique Japanese mindsets even you are living in the States.
I hope you are staying as be a friend even if you have known that I have ike this complicated and fluffy personality though.
See Ya!!
Thank you for clarifying that for me! You taught me another new thing today haha.
I enjoy our long discussions ^-^/
and yes, i now consider you my friend, complicated and fluffy personality included :D
Thank you again for your following up my long fluffy comments with such a warm nicely kind comment.
Yes.. I also like to talk many topics with friends.
So... I am guessing that we have same feeling also!!.
I am very happy to see your word "friend" in the above comment.(嬉).
By the way... I forgot to reply your question in the last Claris comment for "does H also containing the meaning of perverted?".
So this is my answer.
If someone has only said the phrase containing only the alphabet of "H" like "you are H"...
surely that situation is a bit embarrassing but my answer is "No".
As have made on the last comment that It is because that person has a good feeling toward that particular someone else.
But if someone has said the a full word like "Hentai" or "Otaku" to someone else...
so... use of the above words are problem since these full words have containing the meaning of "pervert", and also strongly leaning toward into a negative impression in them.
These "Hentai" and "Otaku" are containing the bad impressions like "perversive sexual preference" or "contempt fondness to be despised" in these words.
Hence once someone has spoken the sentence containing the above particular words in it, you can easily be able to estimate that a speaker has a bad intention to decrease others' reputation.
However anyway... a word and phrase are always depend on speaker's attitude or listeners' emotional circumstances.
Probably... that is why... Japanese people are always paying attentions by using the expressions in much lighter nuance, for not to being rude by making careless remarks against others.
Ahaha... Due to this Japanese unique habit of cherishing others, we always select the words.
Hence... we are quite often using very vaguely complicated words, keep smiling, always making polite attitudes to others... maybe??.
Ahaha... Have I made a appropriated answer for you??.
I hope you have enjoying this reply also.
See Ya!!
