Today... would like to recommend this typical song which has being describing our Japanese mindset which perfectly shows as "be reborn after the tragic catastrophes" emotional song!!.
The song called "Himitsu Kudasai" (Give me your secret) by "Kumi Miyasato" which have been adopted for the theme song in the climax scenes of "Megazone 23".
Explaining about "Megazone 23" is that it is categorized as one of the Japanese "OVA" (Original Video Animation) series which has not for broadcasting on TVs.
But this animation movie had been produced only for the sale to the public.
Megazone 23 is known as which has a very similar plot with the famous SF movie called "Matrix" series.
But the splendor of Megazone 23 is that it has being for sale to the public 10 years before the Matrix movies series.
In the "Megazone 23", all citizens who have divided by the countries have living inside the escaping spaceships from the mother Earth after the destruction of the nuclear war for more than an century.
However, the people living in the evacuating spaceship, excluding a few groups of government offices, are being controlled the truth and behaviours by the mother computer called "Eve".
Therefore, the people in the spaceship have being forced to believe that they are still living in the 1980's without knowing the reality.
Well... this plots and the world settings are very similar to "Matrix"... maybe??.
However... Megazone 23 series had been released 10 years before "Matrix".
Therefore... be honest... probably Megazone 23 is the masterpiece anime which might have affected the plots of Matrix.
Ahaha... there is no official comment on this topic, so... uncertain about it.
Hence... this is just my conjecture... maybe??.

★Megazone 23: Released on 1985 March 9th. (a crap movie.).
★Megazone 23 part 2: Released on 1986 May 30th. (Excellent movie.).

*Part 1 and Part three are crap movie, so... strongly not recommended them.
Prominently... the shamed point of Megazone 23 is due to the shortage of releasing dates.
Some of the offshore handwriting pictures' scenes (the outsourced parts to the neighbouring country) are terribly collapsing.
You can find these scenes easily without telling the parts by your own sense.
So... it is fun to find them also... maybe??.
Anyway even if Hollywood has took some ideas from Megazone 23.
We feel proud of it, and never to get argued with it ever.
