【Wagakki Band "Senbonzakura（せんぼんざくら＝千本桜）"】



How are you going guys??

Today, I would like to introduce you the unique "metal" band, "Wagakki Band", who  performs with a collaboration of the Japanese traditional instruments!!

As I said, "Wagakki Band" is a Japanese "metal like" band that mixes with Eastern and Traditional Japanese musics!!

So... Definitely, their distinctive melodies will attract you a lot でしょ！！

【Members Details】

・Vocal :  Yuko Suzuhana（すずはな ゆうこ）
　A Japanese Poetry Song Master (A Shigin Master：Shihan＝しはん)

 ・"So＝そう（筝）"：kiyoshi Ibukuro（いぶくろ きよし）
　”So” is a type of Japanese Harp, "Koto(琴)"
   A traditional Japanese instrument,
   with 13 strings guitar like shape designed for to set on the floor to play

・"Shakuhachi=しゃくはち（尺八）" : Daisuke Kaminaga（かみなが だいすけ）
   "Syakuhachi" is a flute like, made from Bamboo stem,
    a Japanese traditional wind instrument

・"Tsugaru Shamisen=しゃみせん（三味線）" : Beni Ninagawa （にながわ べに）
　"Shamisen" is a traditional Japanese guitar in various areas all around Japan.
   "Tsugaru=つがる（津軽）" An ancient name of an eastern part of "Aomori Prefecture=あおもり（青森）"
   So...Tsugaru Shamisen is uniquely developed in Tsugaru area,
   stated as the standard Shamisen type in now days

・"Wadaiko=わだいこ（和太鼓）” : Kurona（くろな）
   "Wadaiko", A Japanese big drums, "Wa" means Japanese,
   "Daiko" is a converted pronounciation of "Taiko=たいこ" meaning Drums

・Electric Guitar : Machiya（まちや）

・Bass guitar : Asa（あさ）

・European Drums : Wasabi（わさび）

This Live was held at the world heritage, Nikko Toshogu Shrine on 2016 and..

"Akatsuki No Ito" is perfectly fit to the Buddhism five tower shrine (Goju No Tou=ごじゅうのとう) be more attractive for the audiences だよねぇーっ！！

それで...I did not explain the meaning of these titles yet だった！！

The above "Senbonzakura" is...

・Sen :  せん（千） A thousand, 1,000

・Hon（Bon） :  ほん（本） Noun =Book,
 Also add "Hon(Bon)" when counting Books, Trees, Flowers etc, like bar, stick shaped, or things made from the wood

・Sakura(Zakura) : さくら（桜）A Japanese Cherry blossom tree,
  also converted to Zakura depends on the before nouns

So... simply "A thousand Cherry blossom trees"って事（笑）

それで..."Akatsuki No Ito" is...

・Akatsuki : あかつき（暁）, dawn, The dim time just before the sun rise

・No : の, is　

・Ito : a line, a (cotton) string, 

 So... "Light strings in the dawn"...って事かな？？

However...I can get the different translation like...

"Akatuski" can be converted to your expecting bright new life, But...

Although...Explain all meanings containing in the title is so cumbersome...だし...
