Tokyo train route map,Station floor guide & description of train companies... a bit だけどね(笑)
.
【The Map of Tokyo Train Networks.】.
How are you doing guys!!.
Today... Let me talk about the difficulty of taking trains in Tokyo.
The above first train route map is showing only the area around 200 square kilometres wide from the Tokyo station.
So... now you know Tokyo Train systems are very complicated for the people from overseas.
Firstly remember to take "Yamanote Line".
Since the social transportation network have been highly developed in entire Japanese lands for many years.
You simply just need to remember to select the most reasonable methods trains and buses are to reach to your destination, instead of expensive a rentaling car here in Tokyo.
However... since the Tokyo train networks are very messed up like our wet tangled pomeranian dog's long hairs,it is very complicated to find out which train brings you to the destination by a sight.
As for to clear this problems, remember the fundamental train lines in Tokyo area, which is called as "JR Yamanote line".
"JR Yamanote line" has a circular shape around the central area of Tokyo, which offers the advantage of easy access to major areas of Tokyo.
However... JR Yamanote Line is the line which operate between four AM till midnight and depart each stations in every 3 minutes.
So... in the above "Expedia Movie" explanation of "Tokyo railways never rest" is not appropriate.
Therefore... please do not forget that all Japanese train systems are close from midnight till around 4 AM in the morning.
Otherwise... you have to lie down in a cheap business hotel bed something like "Toyoko Inn" or "Apa hotel", which costs you around JP 4,000 Yen per night for a tiny single room.
Also there is a pronunciation mistake in describing "Asakusa".
The video narrator is pronouncing "Akaska station", but actual pronunciation is "Asakusa".
"Asakusa" is the town where the "Sensoji temple" is located, and just three stations away from "Ueno station" of "JR Yamanote line" by "Ginza Subway line"to "Metro Asakusa station".
So... I do strongly recommend you to visit the typical Japanese style temple "Sensoji temple"(せんそうじ=浅草寺).
Well... back to the story about "JR Yamanote line".
JR Yamanote line has twenty nine stations which covers very popular symbolizing Japanese towns like below.
★Tokyo station: Economic and Political centre of Japan.
The Highest class town.
Mitsubishi Marunouchi buildings give you very unique experiences.
Also the easiest access to the Imperial palace.(koukyo=皇居).
★Kanda and Shimbashi stations: Commercial and healing town for middle-low class white collar workers.
The towns with a huge numbers of Japanese style pubs and cheap restaurants.
★Yurakucho station: The closest station to the highest class city in Japan, Ginza.
The speciality of Ginza is has the unique "pub" style drinking spots which the professional women will accompany with each visitors to entertain you.
These unique Japanese style bars are called "Club", "Cabaret Club", "Girls Bar" or simply "Bar".
They definitely gently attain to heal your daily stress.
But... beware that these gorgeous style drinking pubs will cost you for more than JP 30,000 Yen per an hour.
Yes... If I exchange the currency to US dollars, It is more than US $300 for 1 hour with just stupid chatting with girls with a single champagne glass.
Therefore... No way... 〇鹿なの?? だよね(笑).
However there are a lot of reasonable pubs, bars and restaurants in Ginza.
But... You never know which one is reasonable or not when you have lack with experiences.
Anyway... "Yamanote Line" is also stops at other major terminal stations like, "Shinagawa", "Ebisu", "Harajuku", "Shibuya", "Shinjuku", "Ikebukuro", "Sugamo" and "Ueno"and "Akihabara".
These stations are connected with other major suburban cities, expecially "Tokyo", "Shinagawa" and "Ueno" are the key terminal stations for to connect with Narita and Haneda Airports.
So at these stations, you may take "Shinkansen" or "limited express trains" for other Japanese famous exciting mega cities like Atami, Kyoto, Nara, Shizuoka, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe, Hiroshima, Okayama, Fukuoka, Kagoshima, Sendai, Morioka, Aomori, Sapporo and more.
But before exploring far away mega cities in other prefectures in Japan, you need to enjoy a lot more about each Yamanote stations in Tokyo.
If you take a walk around each Yamanote stations, You may find out that each station has different unique originarities in taste and features in them.
After you have fully satisfied with these cities of Yamanote stations, let out for a short one day trip to the Tokyo suburban country areas.
JR Shinjuku station is the important terminal station using over 3.53 million people everyday and has applicated in Guiness record on 2017.
Shinjuku station is the key terminal for inside Tokyo central area and to the outskirt of Tokyo.
The station is connected with "JR Yamanote line", "JR Saikyo line", "JR Sobu line", "JR Shonan Shinjuku line", "JR Chuo line", "Keio private rail company line", "Odakyu Private train rail company line", "Metro Marunouchi line", "Metro Toei Shinjuku line", and "Metro Oedo line".
From the Shinjuku station, you may reach to the Tokyo suburban areas like, Japanese emperor shrines in Hachioji Tokyo, Takao mountain which has won the three stars from Michelin guide is also located in near Hachioji tokyo.
visit Mount Fuji and five beautiful lakes, tasting varieties of wines as much as you want for1,200 yen per day at "Budou no Oka" nearby Katsunuma station in Yamanashi prefecture.
a quiet summer mountain resort of "Karuizawa" in Nagano.
You can go to these exciting places from Shinjuku station.
JR Ikebukuro and JR Ueno stations is our ordinary life mainstations.
Especially Ikebukuro station is the second bustling station in Japan around 2.64 million people are using everyday.
Ikebukuro station is connected with "JR Yamanote line", "JR Saikyo line", "JR Takasaki Line", "JR Shonan Shinjuku line", "Tobu private train company lines", "Seibu Private train company lines", "Metro Marunouchi line", "Metro Yurakucho line", "Metro Fukutoshin line".
You will be surprising with the enormous crowd of polite people in the rashing hours everyday.
Ueno station is the gate station to the northern part of Japan.
Shinkansens are departing to Saitama, Tochigi, Gunma, Morioka, Akita for these northern part cities in Japan from Ueno.
The additional descriptions for each stations will be provided in below contents.
So... why don't you try "Yamanote line" first!!
I assure you that...You never get to be bored.
