NMB48 "Masaka Singapore" with translation.

Happy new year everyone!!.

The new years days are commonly start from December 30th to January 3rd in Japan.

Therefore... would like to introduce you this happy NMB48 3rd single titled "Masaka Singapore" (It can't be Singapore or Why Singapore.) which has released on 2nd of August 2017.

During these days... people are going back to their own hometowns, so... a big city like Osaka and Tokyo are very quiet than the usual.

Generally... ordinary Japanese people are staying quietly for to cherish their parents or grandparent.

Special event on the new year's day which is January 1st is we all visit Japanese shrine or Buddhism temple to pray for luck and health for own and families.

Also we eat a special meal called "Osechi" (おせち) while entirely during that period.

"Osechi" is a traditional preserved meal and is aimed for mothers to make them free from cooking and household duties from 1st till 3rd of January.

This comes from family members wanting to express their hospitalities and grateful minds  toward all mothers.

Adding more about the story about 1st of January.

On 1st of January has a special name called "Ganjitsu".(元日.).

Some of you might have heard "Gantan"(元旦) has the same meaning.

But sadly they are quite different.

"Ganjitsu" describes a whole day in 1st of January.

But "Gantan" describes a morning time in 1st of January only.

Besides... we have a special soup called "Ozoni"(お雑煮) in new year days.

It is a kind of Japanese traditional soup and has a so many varieties in Japan.

Guess who makes it??.

Well... since all Japanese mothers are free from all household duties during that period, males like fathers or grandfathers mainly have to cook meals for their families.

We also drink "Sake" the rice made alcohol with a bit of spices in it on "Gantan" time.

Since I am not be able to drink alcohol, I always just have a lick and handover to someone else.

All these habit is lovely Japanese traditional but these are getting being lost from each families under the name of the modernization.

Very sad... but we do not lose our splendid mindset yet.

At the last... I am going to ask you guys a question.
